I am an uri of the 'Poutini Ngāi Tahu' hapū Kāti Māhaki, and a delightful mixed heritage of Scots, Irish and Welsh Celt, Anglo-Saxon, Norman and other threads.
My focus is on culture, hauora and concepts of wellness built around a deeply relational, interconnected and intergenerational perception of reality rather than individual pathologies and Instagram perfect bodies.
Drawing on traditional knowledge systems, mythos, storytelling and creativity to navigate deep cultural reckonings and collective wounding, to inform the cocreation of our shared future, centering justice and amplifying the voices of Papatūānuku.
